A great day

Spent Christmas eve morning with a very good friend and a buddy of his hunting ducks. We shot a 3-man limit of mallards, plus a wigeon and a specklebelly in under 2 hours. It was chilly, snowing just a little, foggy, and we had an open, shallow spot in the river that the birds wanted to be in. Ducks flying constantly all morning, and working the spread right into our laps. It was a relaxing, fun morning.

Got back and jammed two quart bags full of flank feathers to tie up jigs with. Won't be running out now any time soon!

Nice haul on the feathers. I can't seem to be able to keep my supply stocked, especially this time of year. Would you consider trading some? Seems like I run to Cabela's just for feather's, I like to see what I'm getting.
