Been tying a few squirrel tail jigs for a friend. Tied some 1/16 & 1/32 for him to use on crappie and a few 1/64 for crappie or trout since he uses spinning tackle.

Thanks guys. I like working with the dubbing and the palmered collars just don't seem to have time to do much of it.

Really like the red n whites. Is that a pearl white on the other heads in the same region?

Thanks everyone. I do think he will have a few fish to clean soon. Shipped them off to him yesterday. Its a shame he lives in the next town from me and it was cheaper to mail them to him than drive....
Adam, that is a pearl paint, has a little clear mixed in. Seems to cover the head very well on the smaller size heads.

Back home they have some black squirrels - I would love to get some pure black squirrel tails for tying those jigs!!!!!!!!

Those are sharp for sure! I haven't ever caught much on jigs with squirrel tails. But apparently I need to give them a shot judging from how y'all are talking!
