These are a few of my first powder painted heads. I really like using powder paint. Once I get some things figured out and fine tuned I am going to Love it!! Couldn't use the heat gun cause it was too late when I got home from work. (Baby and Wife was asleep) I used a small butane torch. Works pretty good but I had to figure out how long to heat the heads up. Melted the lead clean off a couple at first. The pink and olive ones are my first two mixes. The one is HF Yellow(orange) and the others are HF red or white with yellow and red brush tapped on. I'll post better pics of my paint jobs in future posts.

Andy - if you go in the paint mix section there's an olive mix you can make with black and yellow that's really nice!!

Yeah this mix is basically the same but mine is a little darker cause I used equal parts yellow/black. Stump's mix is 1-black 2-yellow. Prolly do some up with that mix too. Going to order or pick up some clear today and maybe some glitter and maybe a few other colors and maybe a third job to help pay for all this stuff. :P

We warned ya buddy!!!!!!LOL My monitor shows black I'll take a look at it at home. On the glitter get the fine or extra fine expecially with the small jig heads, otherwise you might end up with bumpy heads.

You'd get a wide selection of color's with the 10-pack from Rosey's. Especially with the Candy & Neon choices they're offering. You could also get a pound or 2 of their 100% Gloss Clear and you'd probably be set for lif..... well, maybe not. :D

REALLY!! After I bought a pound of nearly every color I have, I told myself I'd never have to but powder again. NOW I'm seeing a few colors I REALLY NEED!!! Like New Penny. BUT, I WOULD be willing to trade someone some of what I Have for a couple ounces of it. New Penny that is. Any takers?

Andy the paint jobs are looking good. I never had any luck using the torch I melted my jig lead:blush:. Now I use the ovans and my heat gun. Keep up the good work and you will be addicted like alot of us. That is OK because fun stuff rules.
