Tried some microlon on a couple of 1/32's. Do you think I need to bulk it up more or make it longer? I didn't want to make it so thick that they couldn't get to the hook but maybe a bit more?  Suggestions? Sorry that the pic is a bit blurry, it was either that or the colors were totally off.

Those look great to me. I like a shorter tail in case I want to tip it with a minnow.

That is some flashy looking tail material. Not sure i have seen it or at least the name is not ringing a bell at the moment. Where is it from? Look like crappie candy to me.

Making tails full is always a balance game. I wouldn't be worried about the fish being able to get to the hook......... bigger worry is a really full tail will loose fluid movement in the water. If i want a full tail to get a bigger shape profile, i still always try to thin it out on the end so the tip can flop around easy. Leaving just a couple extra strands of tail or flash material out the back goes a long way.

Russ, Netcraft and Barlow's both have it. As per their ad: An ultra-lite, ultra strong 70 denier flat strand nylon. Non-matting with high visibility and life-like action in the water.
It comes on a card in about a 9" hank and I guess would be similar to supreme hair. It is pretty sparkly and I suppose a person could mix it in with real hair too.
