Keep a close eye on my checking account as I do quite a bit of on line shopping. About 3 months ago I bought some seaweed pills that were supposed to help your health. Did some research on it and it sounded reasonable in theory.
Anyway ordered 3 bottles to try for three months. gave it an honest try. While it make do something for others it didn't do anything great for me.
Today I sign on my checking account on line and there is another deduction pending. Called company and the guy said he would cancel the auto money draw. He asked why I signed up for auto shipping.
Patiently explained I did no such thing. In fact if I would have the initial order would have been a little cheaper. No way would I authorize something that I just wanted to try. Of course I get the old song and dance about " I don't know how this happened ".
Then proceeded to call bank. Talked to guy I know that works there and he said practices like this are rather common. It said at least this company had a phone number. said it would probably take 3 -5 business days for refund to show processed.
So tonight I read my email and the company sends me a message. Good news your shipment is on the way. Coming by FEDEX. If I can catch him at door will just refuse shipment.
Here on out if I want to try a herbal remedy I will go to Health Store locally.
