View attachment 3View attachment 4Just thought I'd post what I been messing with lately . This is the type of craw I've used all my life in one version or another . Now If only I can get the guy that made the mold to do it's twin with a special tail . I'll be set for the rest of my life . Up to now I have been using home made hand pours to get something like this.

Your going to love those craws . Soon as you get some shot head for the water . I don't care if its snowing . Try that dude with a wobble jig head . The wobble head sitting flat will raise the craw into a defensive position .

They were intended for trailers but I like versatility so I try to think outside the box . There are not many lures out there that I go nuts over . But I love this style of craw For myself anyway. Glad you all like them Thanks

I hope to get a chance to do a split laminate . Two claw colors and two body colors . I know how I want to do it . But time is the problem . Doing four opposing colors on one lure is a long process .

So far I haven't tried them on smallies . Smallies are not to heavily populated around here . But every dang thing else has chewed one up for me . May have to go to medium plastic .

how do I go about getting some of those to try out for the smallmouth here is we have a ton of them I will even trade you baits but I definitely would like to give them a shot this coming spring here is the river behind my house is full of them smallmouth they do get up to 2 to 3 pounds in bigger I'm pretty sure that they might even catch some nice fat crappies.
