Simple little bead head

I fish a lot of bead head styles on curved/scud/caddis hooks in tandem above heavier jigs. They can be killers on gills and crappie even easily out fishing bait very often.

I had always tied them on straight shank hooks and one of the guys on FTF told me to try the scud hooks and I would like them better, and I do. I've used them behind a dry fly and it's wild seeing that dry go zipping backwards when a fish smacks that little nymph.

I can see why a fish would hit that...It really looks like a freakin bug!! Nice tie Fatman, you are pretty good at that!
