I've got an unopened can of Steel Flex for flatbottom boats. This is what the Air Boats use in the south. Will seal rivit leaks and make your boat slide right through the water.Good for a restoration.I can answer any questions that you have on it.$70.00 firm.

Doing one what, an air boat or any aluminum boat? How do you apply it spray on, roll on? What kind of prep work involved? Is this one of those product that claims to reduce friction on the boat bottom and even make it easier to load on a trailer? Wow that was alot of questions for one post.

You can apply it to any surface. You use cheap fuzzy 3" rollers.Usually takes about 8 of them to do a 1648 alumionum flatbottom boat. With a full gallon as this is you could do the whole boat inside and out.If it's bare you need to do nothing to the surface. If it is painted you must just rough it up with 60 or 80 grit sandpaper.Even leaky rivots small pours will be totally filled. It has to be at least 80 degrees to do it.I've done two aluminum boats before using the steel flex.Gives you maybe 3 mph better as it makes the boat so slick.
