1/64 oz. Cross Cuts

Here are a couple of 1/64 oz. with a size 8 sickle tied with cross cuts.My last trip out the cross cuts did such a wonderfull job,without Gulp or anything that I decided to tie them in every size.Now,if I can get my other camera to turn back on you will see what a good job they did.

Nice jigs. Do you just tie the strips in behind the head? (I'm still new to this jig tying)

I palmer the strips around the hook shank starting at where the hook starts to make the bend.Just on the straight part of the hook shank.On these size 8 sickle hooks it only takes about three wraps to get up to the head and make the thread neck to keep it all in place.
