This is a great jig for panfish during the summer and hard water seasons.

About as purty of jigs as u can find. Great work!
I'm trying to understand, so bare with me in my ignorance, you say hot and cold seasons, yet weightless jigs are the ticket?
You don't want to get to the bottom quick and work up slowly?

In the summer I usually use a slip bobber. Through the ice sometimes by themselves or as a dropper with a larger jig about 12" lower on the line. The depth is usually shallow and maybe with a few weeds.
