1/100 ounce jigs

Recently I arranged to get a 1/100 ounce mold from Jay. Cast a coated a bunch and today decided to try tying some. Took 3 brown and 3 pumpkin and started playing. Here is the result. Hats off to those who tie these tiny things on a regular basis.

All six jigs - the foam pad is 1" by 5" long

Those tiny jigs look like trout and panfish getters to me.

I'd be tempted to try casting them with a 9-wt fly rod in addition to ultralight spinning gear and floats.

Guess you're lead goes along way with that weight.

5 weight fly rod would cast them just fine too. Nice little ties.

I cast 200 this afternoon and cannot tell if I used any lead.

Nice tyes. I use the 1/100 and 1/80 on my 3 wt and 5wt rods.

Try it with some #12 VMC hooks. Nice work - jigs that size are usually very deadly...
