060813 IL Water is MUDDY!

Water is very dirty! Several colors were hot including the candy raspberry. Caught over 30 kept 15. Spider rigging and catching off the first breaks in the lake around 15 ft of water.
We talked about the long tails on a post with my bucktails. I thought to cut and I think "jigman" said keep long. They also worked. Best for today was the white head and tan'ish body with green hackle.

Awesome! It always amazes me that a clear water jig color works in muddy water Goes to show the the fish will tell you what they want. Congrats on the catch, can't beat catching fish on your own hand tied jig.

Thanks guys.....Stump I was surprised also on what was hit.....Running six rods and each have two jigs so they had options. Could not see past a couple inches.
