Cold water fish love that pink! Nice work. Now when you say hybrid, are you talking bluegill/ green sunfish hybrid? Or something else?

If it's like the Redear last year JSC - watch out!

qk - we are getting a lot of hybrid Bluegill/Redear. Last year I saw a lot of Redear and Bluegill using the same spawning areas - up to June! Look at the ear of the fish and you can see a faint band - like the pronounced one on a Redear. The band gets red and brighter in warm water. The skin looks like it has blotches also. Excellent fight on 2lb test.

Ohhhh yes, now I see! One place we fish has a lot of those hybrids. I get down there once a year, and we find them on beds. They hit hard!
