A friend of mine sent me a tanned copperhead skin from Alabama...it was nice sized..4 inches at the widest point..so I decided to start a new copperhead rod and put that skin to good use...it is a 7 foot BenchMark rodblank, medium power..for wacky wormin'...I'm sure it will make a awesome...

I am about as tight as a rusty hinge when it comes to spending money....and I dislike to throw anything out, that I may have a use for later down the road !!.... Well, I was hanging on to this BBQ grate and thought it would make a good jig holder while the jigs were drying..or just to hold them...

Been working on a Diamondback rod this morning and applied a third coat of epoxy to the handle and foregrip...and built the epoxy ramp for the winding check.... The skin is a Eastern Diamondback Rattlesnake skin that was salvaged from a roadkill... My client bought this custom rod for his boss...

Here are some jigs I have been tying..using badger and moose...the moose is like tying with wire...while the badger is like working with silk...I had fun tying these...one of these days I might get to try them out !!:rolleyes: MaryLou~~

Since I have a lifetime supply of moose hair..I have had fun tying moose hair jigs..here is one of my creations I tied last night....I just threw caution to the wind !!!...:) I might add that tying with moose hair is like tying with wire...it is very interesting to work with !! Only been tying...
