Smooth color combos. Nice jigs.

I'm always wondering...what is the difference between craft hair and craft fur? In the fabric industry, craft fur is sold by retailers in swatches or bolts. All craft hair is the curly thin stuff found in small plastic packaging along their doll supply aisles. In the fishing industry, only one company seems to sell craft hair. And...it doesn't look like it belongs on a doll's head...

Does anyone know the difference? Or, is this just a means of one supplier setting itself apart?

I remember the custom vans from the 60's and 70's having some wild looking interiors made from the stuff. Most fabric stores still carry a selection

When spring rains come and muddy up the lakes and rivers here I plan on feeding them something they can see. These might scare them to death but I hope they are hungry or pi$$ed off.

Those are really nice. I have a couple different colors of craft hair...haven't attempted tying with them yet.

Nice ties Jim!!!!!!!!!!!!! First time I ever tried fake fur was when we took the colored hair off the little troll dolls and tied it on jigs and it worked good. Darice stuff is good, used to use Punisher but seemed like it had more underfur/fluff than I liked and quit using it. Picked up some Targus craft fur and I love the stuff but it's hard to find and have a lot of the Hairline Extra Select.

Craft fur is a good material that is fairly cheap and makes a good jig that catch's fish.

You can also do searchs on ebay for - Long Pile faux fur , it's like buying fabric and it does work, some have different lengths. Have some pretty cool mix's also but hard to buy $20-40 dollars of one color, but this is one cool looking one hair length is only 2"

Dan. I believe it's Kreinick's, although I may have spelled it wrong. Got it at JoAnn's in the thread section. A spool will last forever.

It's very similar to that but higher cost and volume with the Kreinick's. I believe over 100 yards per spool. Probably better off to order some from CAT and get three colors for the price of one of the Kreinick's.
