Looks good to me... Not sold on the opossum though. Maybe they are lighter on my part of the rock.

Great looking jigs, nice work Jim. I have some hair like that, bought a drop bag from a trapper and may be the same way you got that hair. I'm thinking it is fox or wolf.

I don't think it's fox. Little coarser texture wise but it's got great action in the water. It could be opossum. Doug, I think they are EC 574'S.

Outstanding jigs...... my guess would be something like a dark patch of coon or possibly 'possum. Looks super soft and lots of guard hairs. Had a cat many years ago with fur that looked close to that.

Getting ready to head to the fly shop and try to find more or at least similar. It's softer than buck tail and kip tail and has a nice flowing action in water. Feather Craft here I come.
