Tied these up a year ago for stocker trout in one of my home lakes. 1/80th oz, size 10 hooks.

Nice ties - are you using the mini maribou for those?? Even twisting then palmering up the shank leaves longer fibers than what your's show.

Thanks. Actually, I'm using premium marabou. I just cut some of the barbs from the shaft, tie them in at the bend of the hook, advance the thread to the head, twist the feather fibers into a "rope", and then wrap that around the hook shank. I do believe it's called "marabou rope dub". I love the look of the stuff.
