Toad, the flutter jigs look awesome. A pumpkin brown head and some rust/brown bodies and maybe an olive maribou tail would make a killer smallie jig for around here. Maybe a barred brown tail. Those look super, great pic.
May just have to order some more heads and give those colors a shot. Thanks to everyone for the gracious comments . I didn't feel it was my best work. My chenille is old and rolled into balls . if you don't use it quickly it tends to have flat spots . A real pain to work around.skeetbum said:

I have heard of steaming chenille to get it back to its original shape, but there is a simple fix i learned to do as you are tying. If you re-twist the chenille tightly, it fluffs it back out. Tie on the end of chenille to the shank and before you start wrapping it, pull 8" to 10" out tight from the jig and roll it between your thumb and pointer finger. JoJo The third jig or wobbler has a palmered hackle at the neck and a finesse fish run up the hook. You would be surprised what that thing will catch. Catfish will some times pick up a yellow one. Walleye will hit green and yellow combos.
OK, I got to be honest I can't take to much credit for the photo. It came out that way purely by accident. I'd bet a nickle I can't reproduce it if I tried. I'm in the process of setting up the old shop again after all these years. Maybe I can do something fancy this spring or summer. Thanks for the replies especially when they come from you guys and gals that have been working commercially for these last years while I've been sitting on my duff.
