While I was in California, the Boolies and these baits was about all I used, they worked really well. Tried something a little different with these. Before adding the Sally Hansen finish to these I used neon and black sharpies to paint the backs. Some ran down the thread creating vertical bars. They worked great in California and have been working well here but size of gills are smaller than out there. Last picture shows the hot color on the river here before the rain changed it to chocolate milk. Later found out while examining these under blacklight was that I had overcoated the holographic black with UV Blast. Sure does change the appearance on a black jig.View attachment 1View attachment 2View attachment 3View attachment 4View attachment 5

Looks like you're really liking large eyes - work better than blind?

Looks like some bigger Boolies in the mix - what are they for?

As always fantastic. Where are you guys getting the rubber/silicon skirts. Looking for different colors vs the standards skirts at Bass Pro.

I get most of the rubber from FISHINGSKIRTS.COM I get the reptile rubber that Sonny has been using with his auto's and I use in some boolie colors from LurePartsOnline.com Hundreds of colors to choose from at both places. Reptile rubber is a round rubber that has a different action than other rubber and a few colors have a different color printed on one side than opposite side. Reptile rubber was used on the last boolie jig shown in pictures. Hawn, most of my custom molds have a recessed eye and jigs wouldn't look right if I didn't put something in there although I believe I catch more fish on jigs with eyes than blind jigs.
