Love the blend in colors. Finally got some orange paint and still have plenty ideas to play with. New ordered 1/16th #4 walleye which are the smaller ones. New 1/8thish custom pour for the larger one on #2. Imperfections with the mold as one side is kinda flatter but decent enough and I'm happy being self sufficient. First time with the orange an noticed I really have to layer it to get the Fl out of it. Is this normal? Like the first coat is darker? Thanks for looking.

the orange seems to be dark when first applied and I have to layer it on in order for the orange to get really bright. Is this normal? or crappy paint?

Okay - first what color orange are you using?? There are lot's of different shades, then florescents, candy, neon's.... If you have just a plain orange it's not going to be bright, you'd have to go with a florescent orange. Here's a thread from the paint mixing section

and take my word for it, Attica's recipe is just right. This is my mix following his recipe.

It's a flourescent orange. Just the first coat loses it's pop. Takes two or three to keep flourescent. Think it's just the paint since y'all dont seem to have this problem. Thanks y'all and will try mixing Atticas color.
