Got the report from my Dad...... the bite was off over the reefs from what it was last week. Previously they were catching limits with 20 anglers on the boats! Heavy rain to the point of flooding many of the local rivers that dump into the western end of Erie got the water over the reefs muddy and just threw things off. My brother and him managed to catch 4 (2 each) between them and the limit right now is 4 per angler... fish were good eating size but not much of bragging size. They did catch 3 of them on my jigs tied though - caught on yellow, orange and 1 on a purple that was a store bought jig.

Those electric chicken eyes are plain sick. Still in awe!! Def motivates me to go tie.
