Robert sent a sample of the Texas Toast chenille to me in the last jig swap and this chenille is awesome! You have many different color combos you could tie with this chenille. Here is the first combo I came up with using the Texas Toast.
Thanks guys.
Jim the dark color is chart/squirrel tail. With the squirrel tail it blended in just right with the yellow hackle.
It's hard to tell in the pic but the flash is gold.
The clear coat is something I am still working on....you got me there! Nice I went to the dollar general and picked up the clear nail polish a couple weeks ago

Really nice Stump!!!!!!!!! That one is on my to get list which still has a few items. Plate you just have to practice with the powder and mixing. Cadman's sig line is so so true "Practice, Practice, Practice and when you think you have it Practice some more!!"
Trust me I have a bag of rejects that I scrape the paint off every now and then, and re-use!!!
Absolutely stunning!!!!!!!!!!!!! Again the texas toast chenille with the color combo you used is as perfect as it gets and the squirrel blending in with the hackle is flat out killer!!!!!!!!!!!! That will account for a bunch for sure!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks everyone for the comments.
The head is just yellow paint but the Sally shine picks up the colors in the chenille
Rad I may be interested in some of the chenille if the deal goes through, keep me in mind.
