Double cone boolie

Ran out of lead heads this morning so I was tying some with cone heads. Put this boolie together to see how well it would work with two cones instead of a cone and a bead. Prop spins nicely. I think it looks good and will work good. What ya'll think.

You got it bad Andy (tying bug). No jigs - must be going through withdrawls! Good lookin tye. Have you checked to see if the blade spins?

Yeah i do have it bad! :P The blade spins really good. These cone heads are the Large ones and its tied on a #2 hook so its got some size. I don't have a scale but comparing it to one of the ball head boolies I tied it seems around 1/32 or so.

Okay you should be good!!!! That was the only thing I was worried about when I saw it was it's weight. You're good to go!!!!!!!

Gets Interesting when you have the bug :D Looks nice, did you tie a build up behind the front cone to keep it off the blade once it is in the water. Will be looing for a report on that tye. Nice use of materials.

I like your idea of the consecutive cones. This style reminds me somewhat of older brass-bodied inline spinners. :cool:
