I was digging through a box of msc lure parts tonight and found a couple props so I thought i'd try to tie a boolie. I'm going to have to order some props cause I really like these things. Did someone on this forum come up with the Idea for these? Very Cool! This one is 1/32 with Chartreuse marabou, Purple satin, Chartreuse chenille.

Out here...
Very nice... And there are several tyers here that have a bunch of years experience. So yes, the chances are very good that one of them invented that tye.

Northland Whistler Jig as pointed out by ShoeMoo offered a propeller shanked jig head in walleye sizes starting many years ago, but I credit JiggerJohn for developing the concept into effective multi-species jig tie patterns, aka "Boolies". Currently, he is working on a Muskie upsize.

BTW Andy, the painted props don't appear to spin as well as plain metal ones.

Hawn - I didn't know about the painted ones and I wonder because it was either JJ or Len who had put stick on eyes on the propellors the clear coated them.

Gotta go look up that post!!!!!!!!!! I was thinking of glitter coating some but if the spinning action is going to be affected I won't!!

Thanks
