Finally had a chance to set at the bench and use some of the moose hair that MaryLou sent me a few weeks ago. Tied a 1/2 dozen of each color, chartreuse, red and orange Humpy's in size #10 and while I was tying I also tied 1/2 dozen of these extended tail Cahill's.
Now to find a good day or any day to try them....:-/

The humpers look sweet - squint your eyes and make them blurry and those look like bugs on the screen. :) Nice touch of attracting colors on the under body as well. Gills will hit those hard when they are looking up.

Thanks MaryLou, I should be able to tie a few more with the moose hair I now have :):)

Thanks Attica. The Humpy is a buggy looking fly and floats like a cork! The under body colors does help the fish find them in stained water and they just look cool :)

Fatman the extended body on that fly is tied using wood duck flank feather. May have to do a tutorial on that fly since all of us like to tie with duck.

Those right is what seperates the men from the boys!! I always believed that anyone can tie a jig but it take talent, and skill to do flies and those flies could be on a magazine cover or in a catalog! Beautiful work!!!
