Holy cow! Ronnie your poppers are insanely awesome! Did this ones take you as long as the last one you posted?

Thanks guys. Ronny this one took awhile to do also but not as much time as the feather poppers. I made a set of tools for painting the dots and eyes out of rod rods and 15 different size needles. It is amazing how small those painted dots are.
Here is the set of rods and needle tools. The numbers are the size of needles used. Some are cut off at the eyes for size then pushed onto a 2'' wood handle and epoxied. Picked this up in a magazine.

Thanks for the nice comment guys. I made three of these popper this go around. One for the display box and two made out of cork to use while fishing.

Ronnie,

I'm interested in your tools. I'm assuming some of them are sewing needles. I have some larger ones that are good for bodkins.

I'm curious which sizes of needles and rods you use most? I would like to make a set.
I like making my own tools. Plus, I like hand painting.

I bought a nice Badger airbrush, but I'm not set up to use it. I have an old cpap machine I am going to try to use as a compressor. it's a project for a day down the road.

I've only made one popper, but I'm ready to get after it and make a bunch.

Yours are top notch!!!!
