Nice tie Salty!!! Folks even if you don't tie on these size heads you can tie them on smaller heads the exact same way, and they will work

It's been a while,lol.So far,have'nt touched a jig today,Heck,I've been awake for 3 1/2 hours already.Lots of pics Stump.Can't wait,thinking maybe next Saturday taking the nephews out to make sure all is good with the boat before Doc Crappie comes along the next weekend.Can get the right colors picked out for myself,also,lol.

A lot of people say Spring+pink=flounder. I'm not really one of them though lol. White is still my go to color. Now that being said, seemed like gulp red did well last year in the late spring/early summer.

The best combo for me has been a completely pink bucktail with a Pearl white Gulp Swimming Mullet.

On my tandem rigs I use at the pier, either 1/4 or 3/8 oz., I don't worry about head colors at all. I've had all types of combos between head and Gulp color. Only thing I notice was when they are agressively hitting, the top jigs get most hits, and this time of year when water is cooler and they are really hitting softly, bottom one gets the business.
