I think my box is totally full now.I started to switch to a small jig box and a big jig box.Stripers will be the target next,in a coup[le of weeks. So these are what I've done in the last couple of days.Range from 3 oz. down to the baby 1/2 oz. Pinky at the end. Now,to decide which ones to try out first, lol.

Why not get a spreader bar and put 6-8 of them on lol. I'm confused right now....more than I normally am, are you drilling holes in those shad heads for the eyes? I see some like mine, then some recessed for eyes.

blt - in the pouring section the thread "Led got the box" and Salty poured a bunch of them and the recessed eye sockets were there from the pour, but now I'm not sure myself by looking at the second picture.

Course not knowing or seeing the mold - it could be that some of the sockets were pinned while others left alone. So SALTY!!! could you tell us LOL!!!

And you keep doing all these pours and ties you gonna need a back brace or a dolly to move your jig back to the boat!!!! LOL

I don't think they are that big. When you catch a 40 pound striper with a 2 oz. jig it looks like a 18" crappie with a 1/16 oz. jig.

For what you do, they're perfect. I just don't think I've ever even SEEN a 2-oz jig in person. And if I caught an 18" crappie, I would freak out!

Go to Arizona and fish at San Carlos Lake on the Apache Reservation. They are all 18 and bigger.A 16" crappie there is a "Dink"

Here's another 1 1/2 oz.I got 2 factory rejects out of the 60 that I poured.Of course no rejects from the 2 oz. shadheads, lol.I wanted one badly. On this one,the lead on these is plumber's lead from the late 1800's and was sooo shiney that I just used clear fingernail polish on the head to make it like chrome.Tied with pink and blue bucktail.
