Definitely some nice paint jobs. Hopefully it will. Stand up to banging off the rocks. Just wait until you lose them. Nothing like bottomfishing for losing gear.

You should see some of the jigs they use for halibut out here... Jigging a pound of lead 450 feet down wears out your arms right quick.

Looking good !!Where's the pink ones ??

Have to pour more! I'm coating 2/3 oz. pinks right now.
Some one e-mailed this a.m. wanting 10 4oz., 10 3oz., and 5 2oz. (Not a shop)

I have a lot done for shops in the striper size hooks, just started doing the smaller flounder size. Between 3 colors, 2 different size hooks, I need about 200 made up before season starts. Need to do some yellow maybe, but they don't seem to be as popular. Want to get some orange dye also for tails and do some orange ones.

2 and 3 oz., 5/0 and 6/0 hooks for Flounder......or Fluke as you strange people in Joisey call them.

Looking at this pic, now people can understand why we look for BIG toaster ovens lol. With 8/0 hooks for stripers, there isn't much room in there from the bottom. Wrist are getting sore from twisting and turning coating around 70 large jigs the past could hours. I know....stop crying lol.

Sister inlaw got me this oven at a yard sale for $4. I can take the pan out and cover elements with alum. foil, and that might get those 8oz. minnows you have. There is no way I would stick these in the other 1/2's oven. That would be a fast way to getting beat in my sleep lol.

Looks like doormat heaven.
Do you ever stuff em with dungeoness crab?
I ate em baked as a kid. Fried fillets when I got older. But stuffed with crab seems to be as good as it gets.

If I would stuff 'em, it would probably be with backfin meat from a Maryland bleu crab. I had Dungeoness one time. It was good, but I would rather have snow crab.
We coat with a little lemon pepper, or a couple drops of lemon juice, little butter either way, broil or bake.

Last year, I had alittle over 5lb of flouner I tossed away because after I fillet them up, the guy at the shop said "hold on, I have some zip-lock freezer bags". He put the fish in, I cooked it, had sand all through it. I was BITTER!!!!!!! lol.

Those heads are friggin HUGE! I love 'em, but have no use for anything quite that size here. And this talk of fresh baked fish has me hungry!
