Do you ever stuff em with dungeoness crab?
I ate em baked as a kid. Fried fillets when I got older. But stuffed with crab seems to be as good as it gets.
If I would stuff 'em, it would probably be with backfin meat from a Maryland bleu crab. I had Dungeoness one time. It was good, but I would rather have snow crab.
We coat with a little lemon pepper, or a couple drops of lemon juice, little butter either way, broil or bake.
Last year, I had alittle over 5lb of flouner I tossed away because after I fillet them up, the guy at the shop said "hold on, I have some zip-lock freezer bags". He put the fish in, I cooked it, had sand all through it. I was BITTER!!!!!!! lol.
