Here's a pic,I think.2 ,1/32 and 2 , 1/64 squirrels.I just dipped the meat end in salt and hung it up to clothesline. It's got a bone the size of that 1/64 oz. jighead,so I'm not worried about it.The hairs are like 2 1/2 inches long on that Trophy Squirrel, lol.

Out here...
I have a grey fox tail I'm looking forward to trying... It has some great natural color. Looks like I'm gonna have to go squirrel hunting also those look good.

My eyes must be pretty bad, lol.I can't see them hardly at all in that stupid pic.The little ones have just the black and white at the end of the tail, the 1/32 have some of the brown also. They look pretty cool in my hand, but, not in that pic. You'll see them better tomarrow if I catch anything with one, lol.

Those look good.
Doc like stated you can use salt to dry them and also borax works great it will dry them and bug proof them at the same time.

From what I can see they look good, and squirrel can be tough to tie with as it's slippery.

Fresh squirrel tail I actually like to wash, squeeze in paper towel comb it to straighten the hair and then put in borax

I got the Berkley Cherrywood set up with a slip bobber with one of them 1/32 oz. squirrel tails on top and an aberdeen on the bottom.Let's see what happens.I'm sure the Mitchell Avocate will be screaming tomorrow.

Good luck fishing with them. Hard to tell much about them but I'm sure they will do the job for you. Those are some long hair squirrels!

Just got home, dark already, very long day, lol.I'll have to show you the jig tomorrow when it's daylight again,But,here's what it caught.Pretty much everything,First a 10" crappie, then a bunch of perch, then when tipped with a minnow a smallmouth bass,Cosectively. Here's a good one to start,I'm going to post the trip in the fishing success forum a little later. You may have to sit sideways until I get it in Photobucket and fix it,lol.
