Gotta say you appear to have mastered not only head painting but a variety of tie materials & tekneeks. What species do you target with the extra long feather tails?

Thank you, although "mastered" might be a bit strong. Either way, I graciously accept your compliment. I like to think I do try hard at it, though!
Havent found many species unreceptive to the elongated tails. But walleye, smallies, peacock bass, clown knives all seem to dig the long tails! Even crappies seem to have little aversion to inhaling a 5"-5.5" jig. Those larger 1/2oz with full feathers are my version of the "preacher jig" which have become popular with the bass tourney folk in recent years.
In general, Im an avid subscriber to the "big bait, big fish" school of thought!
