My daughter had some candy that came in a heart box with fur around it.

I saved the fur and cut into strips and then tied a jig. I’m rather happy with my results.

It also caught my PB crappie on local lake maybe of all time. The crappie was 13.5” long. Don’t know weight though.

Brings to mind how the heck fish, even larger older supposedly wiser ones will bite something that does NOT resemble their natural food sources. Today had a best ever smallie session using a garish green/yellow 3" Gulp! Minnow that was totally rejected by catfish at the same spot. At one point 4 casts 4 inna row 2-4#ers (pigs in NE). Personally, would never choose to buy this color, but was included in an eBay package deal.
