These are the biggest I've made so far ranging in size from 3/8-5/8th oz. on 6/0 mustad ultrapoints. Painted them last year and just got around to tying them now. Getting a lot of rain here which we needed so spending time at my desk hoping to see the sun again, been 5 days now. Really like how the paint turned out on the heads. Total length on these are 5.5-6+ inches long.  View attachment 2View attachment 3View attachment 4View attachment 5View attachment 6

Man those are sweet.  I like the small body profile  I have started doing more of that.  Very nice work.  I love tying big jigs.  Only issue I  have is the thread.  I go thru tons of thread.  I tied 10 last night 3/4 oz. and another 18 3/8 and 1/2 oz.

Those are great-looking jigs. I enjoy tying larger jigs occasionally, but seldom fish them. So it's good to see them here. Again, nice work.

The blades are 3.5's and really like painting them as well. I just double dipped these using a combination of clear, uv blast and a super fine glitter called Liquid Diamonds that's designed for nail polish.. A little goes a long way. It's used on the heads as well as an overcoat.

Actually put them on ebay, I prefer 1/4 or smaller for most of my fishing but occasionally 3/8 on 4/0 or smaller hooks. I might try something like this on a lake not to far from me that has muskie. Never caught one and they are on my bucket list.

JJ here  in KY we use a Strike King Scounger Jig 3/4 oz White Deer hair a little chartreuse flash.  The Spring Muskie go crazy on Green River Lake.chasing them.  I don't personally fish for them but, I tie a mean jig for a friend that does.
