In recent years, my busier work schedule has led me to neglect my favorite little river that runs literally across the street from my shop.  I am hoping this year i can get out a lot more often and get back to my quick lunch break trips.  It probably doesn't need to be restocked, but thinking about it means i have to tie and paint a few new ones.

Instead of red fluff between black head & tail have you considered a fluorescent red/orange bead? Fair amount of info out there about their attractive power.
