1/16 Herring Underspins

Really like the new underspin mold. Here's a few of the ties I've made the last few days using #2 and #4 sickles. Blades are #0 Indiana, some are painted. Last one 's are 3/32 with a #1 EC 574. View attachment 2 View attachment 3 View attachment 4

JJ those look phenomenal. I've had some issue on the Herring pouring the 1/4 oz from the new mold last year. I've found that if the lead temp isn't just so so that I get a bad pour once in a while. Any issues with all the hardware and the 1/16 oz? Will the Matzo sickles hooks work in them? Thanks Bo

No issues with the pouring at all. I've poured #2 and #4 sickles with the 1/16 with no problems and I'm using #8 roller swivels from China in them which are equal in size to a #12 from US manufacturers.
