This is about all I use the last couple of weeks. 1/80 and 1/64 chubs with #8 lil nasty hooks have been the best in chartreuse on sunny days and pink shades on cloudy days. Fishing them 1.5- 3 foot deep around brushpiles with a weighted floats. Catching mostly crappie from 8-11 inches with a few bluegill and bass mixed in. Before it got cold the last few days had been catching over 50 every trip fishing for 2-3 hours. A little flash, mallard flank and hackle are the staple materials.  Last two pictures are 1/16 with #4 sickles.  View attachment 7View attachment 8View attachment 9

Yes, from shore. I need the weighted float to get out to the brush, about 30=35 yards from the bank. Sometimes I tip jigs but haven't had to the last few trips. Water is clear enough for me to see the brush below the surface.
