A couple days ago, I was browsing around on youtube, and saw a video for the “Pink Pookie” foam hopper, from InTheRiffle. Once I watched it, I knew I would have to tie a few up. I've been looking for a “bulkier” foam hopper pattern.
It does take a little longer to tie the pattern than the GFA Hoppers I've been tying. However, I am pleased with the results. Now I just need to get them wet.
I did make a couple changes to the pattern. I used a 3xl size 10 hook instead of the hook listed in the video. Also, I don't have any of the barred rubber legs that the video had; I just used something close that I had on hand.
