Just might get another brief chance on the ice here, if the oh so dependable weather forecast holds true. Probably a few days at most. Tied me up a few fresh tungsten jigs... just in case. Sure love how heavy the tungsten heads are at such a small size. Only problem is that you really only find them pre-painted...... so i don't get to paint these. The 2 on the far left are tungsten fly beads on #8 jig hooks.

With the crazy temp. swings this winter, also have spring on my mind at the same time. Thinking the smaller spoons (lead free solder added for casting) might get me a few crappie early on then bruiser bluegill too once they start hitting the shallows again. The bigger spoons will likely get tied on near dark once the bluegill/crappie bites start to slow and the walleye put the feed bag on. THESE i DO get to PAINT!
