These jigs weigh 1/24th oz. with 4mm 3-d eyes on a custom pillhead.I usually do my buggers with hackle, but for these I wanted to try something a little different and used the palmer chenille to wrap over the bodies. I've used it in the past to wrap tails and necks of jigs, but I think this is what it was intended for. The rubber tailed ones are one of my personal favorites.

Beautiful jigs... very beautiful... I don't see too many small jigs with silicone. :)

Crazy Angler carries the palmer chenille.a little goes a long way. He carries about a dozen colors.. Hunter,we've had three close calls with the storms since last fall. I can't remember one before that in my 50+ years.Last year a tornado touched down a couple blocks from where two of my children worked and the damage there was unbelieveable. Almost was in the basement last night. Mack, I've been tying the smaller silicone rubber jigs for years and probably have well over 100 colors of the skirt tabs in a drawer.I've tied thousands of them. Only wish they were cut finer, but they definitely work. There are some finer cut skirt tabs out there but they are more geared to the bass fisherman colorwise. The fine cuts have better action. I've caught 1000's of fish on "rubberbutts".
