Messing around With Blue and Chrome

Sorry for the picture Quality. I've been messing around with synthetic hair and flash trying to come up with a color combo to duplicate a blue/chrome bait that is my go to for fall and winter open water.

Jig is a 1/16oz Ament oval head Blue teal, chrome dusting on sides, white belly.

Jig 1 Blue flash, Blue Hair, Silver Flash White Hair, laminated chrome/blue chenille over pearl white chenille


Jig 2 Blue flash, Silver Flash. Pearl Chenille collar

I like how sparce the jigs are. Good winter smallie jig to try out in mid atlantic rivers.

The more I fish with jigs, the clearer my understanding of the old saying..... "less is more"
