While recovering from shoulder surgery I've been looking around for ideas for something new to try and decided to try articulated jigs. I called these the Kitchen Sink because of all the different materials that went into tying these. Slow tying these because of the shoulder, took an hour to do these two last night. 3/8 oz poison tail with a 60 degree 2/0 Mustad hook for the head and a Gamakatsu B10S #2 STINGER hook for the tail. Two kinds of flash, silicone rubber, peacock herl, 4mm glass rattles, two colors of neck hackle, palmer wrapped marabou, beads and cross cut rabbit are the main ingredients, might have left something out. Total length on these are over 5 inches long.View attachment 2View attachment 3 Plan on doing some crappie sized baits next. Probably keep me busy for another week or so.
