Not much into natural colors for crappies but warming up to it!

So early this month I was tying up some 1/48 and picked up some chenille from one of the latest jig swaps (swapmaster grab bad).....!! This jig has been getting bit more than I would have ever thought and am pleased. So what do others think about natural color selections for crappies. I rarely ever tie this style.......anybody have additional feedback would love to hear.

Nice looking jig .
As far as going natural , I look at the " match the hatch theory "

Thanks guys! As you note from a lot of my post I like bright colors. Just have not moved this way much

I Really like the looks of those jigs, they should work great for bream and trout as well.
One of the best jigs I have ever tied is plain squirrel tail with a small band of red thread to tie it on the hook.

dbeam.....agree with the tails! Have about 10 in the freezer from last fall. Gray and Reds!!

I think a lot has to do with water color. Natural colors, barred duck, grays work great for me in clear water.

I think, every now and then, you just need to show the fish something a little "different".

These little jigs would be perfect for that!!!
