1/16 in the first picture on a #2 Owner 5318 jig hook. 1/8 in the other two pictures. Been catching some nice crappie the last few years early before the spawn on these. Seems like I lose more on the safety pin type in the first picture then the regular type in the other pictures. Lost four on those a few days ago on a similar bait that had Eagle claw 574's as the hook. Hooks seem sharp but I seem to have problems with EC'S. JINXED !! Nice

Where do you find a mold to pour a spinnerbait that small?

Do it makes a mold with a 1/16 and 1/8 spinner baits and I'm curious what other hooks that mold would take. The 1/16 I poured myself and added a safety pin type spinner after I tied the bait up. I bought the 1/8 off e bay several years ago. Only had to tie them and add the blades. Wish I would have bought more than 25 of them back then because I can't find them anymore.

Jim very nice!!!!! Check with Nightprowler if he's still around, we traded some stuff one time and he sent me a few of the crappie sized spinnerbaits.

Not east to find at all.

I talked to Shawn Collins about one, but in the end, for a hobbist couldn't afford going custom.

Thx

JJ- played with these when Ron Don was casting them. They do work on crappie but I could not keep the dag gone bass off of them.

Both smallies and largemouth would not leave me alone. Don't know what the little spinner baits represent to the fish. But it must be something they all hate cause they really smack them.

I have the Do-it SJ-CRP mold - pours both 1/16 & 1/8. My notes indicate that I've poured both 1/8 & 1/16 w/ it - used hard lead. 1/8 poured ok, 1/16 w/ difficulty. Have not gotten back to it to further research the 1/16.
