Been playing around with this jigs for a month or so and thought y'all may find it interesting. Have not used it yet but will when the crappie start moving closer to the spawning grounds. For the last two year the crappie have been hitting a slider jig over most tied jigs so I think this one may compete with the slider.

Awesome! Raiding your Missus' pin cushion?

I haven't had the need for chenille, but looks the ideal tie material for that design minimally impeding blades' spin.

Interesting tie SH.

I think that you may catch many more bass on this lure than you might anticipate. Just a hunch... :)

Once this bait is in motion the propeller would slide back to the bead. Not sure if that would hinder the prop and prevent it from spinning. I think if you add a small bead like about a 3/32 "2.5" mm between the prop and end of the pin might help it spin better. I really like this concept and as soon as the wife get's home I hope she has some pins in her sewing basket so I can try a few myself. I want to try some with just the prop and some with blade and prop.

Thanks guys I do think this will be a good jig.

Jim the pin ball is just the right size for the blade, it goes around real easy. I'll try to get a video of it in the water posted soon.

As long as it spins it's good to go. I did some earlier today, takes longer to tie them than a regular jig but it sure looks promising.
