At least one article daily from "The National Interest" in Yahoo News, mostly about tactics and weapons of war. Wondering who was behind the dialog to promote warfare and neverending development of better than theirs weaponry, I did some research.
The president and CEO is Dmitiri Konstantinovich Simes, born in Moscow 1947 and graduated from Moscow State University with an MA before emigrating to the USA in 1973. He was a career academic in international relations, and served Richard Nixon as an "informal foreign policy advisor". More recently he "arranged Trump's April 27, 2016, speech at the Mayflower Hotel" wherein "Trump called for greater cooperation with Russia".
"In September 2018, historian Yuri Felshtinsky published an investigation about the involvement of Simes in Russian interference in the 2016 United States elections, including his help to Maria Butina."
