Firetiger Squirrel

The squirrels worked so well yesterday that I had to tie a couple more.I'll try this one out next time and try to get some of them bigger crappies.It's 1/8 oz. firetiger painted head with some squirrel tail and purple beaver chenille.Got some chartruese pearl flash.

what are you using for a camera? does it have a macro setting?
if so set it down on a book, and stand the jig up against something. by having the camera out of your hands it will move less. If it is a pocket size camera, pick up a pocket tripod. (wolf camera, Mikes, etc...) they are like 5-10 bucks. trouble I run into is when i want to use my larger SLR a pocket tripods won't hold them up.
another good trick I learned.... focus the camera, then us the timer to take the picture. this way the camera doesn't move at all.

Those will be good jigs. It does look like your camera setting is off the macro setting.

Thanks jshmidt.Worked out a little better.I have an old Sony Cybershot that I got on Ebay about 6 years ago for $8,lol.It has all kinds of things on the dial that I have no idea what they do.I'm going to start figuring it out though,Myeswell,Huh??

You know Scott,that just might be one of his heads.We had a painted head swap with a couple of guys on C.com some time ago and I had a bunch of painted heads in a coffee can.Just might be.
